Each time I go back, I discover more of myself reflected in the masonry of Jerusalem's ancient buildings, in the cobblestone streets of the kabbalistic city of I often remark that parts of who I am are only alive when I am in Israel. Safed, or even in the intoxicating energies of the open market of Tel Aviv.

Our journey through the land of Israel is ultimately a personal journey, an inner journey and a once-in-a-lifetime journey.

Why a once-in-a-lifetime journey? Because as you marvel at the biblical landscape around you and are projected back 3000 years touching, with your bare hands, that old of a stone, you can't help but be moved to your core; you can't help but discover within you aspects of who you are that you didn't know existed or that had been lying dormant all these years.
